We are Linn and Knut Erik – musicians, married couple and the duo behind Perfect Day.
As professional artists with education in music, production and sound engineering, we have made music our livelihood – with heart, craftsmanship and over 15 years of experience.

You will find an excerpt of the songs we can play under Repertoire . Here you will find, among other things, EDM, hits, disco, rock'n'roll, ballads, Norwegian summer hits, country, pop hits, swing music, dance bands and ABBA.
Technical equipment
We bring a good and powerful sound system that can successfully play for up to several hundred people. Our lighting system creates movement on both the dance floor and the stage. It is possible to connect a smartphone, mp3 player and laptop if you wish. We also bring a guitar, electric piano and microphones.
Since we both have sound engineering expertise, we have good control over the sound and a lot of flexibility in the volume.
Questions & Answers
How much space do you need?
We want a space of about 4 m. width and 2 m. depth. Imagine a guitar and a keyboard in the width. Often we also have speakers on each side as well, bass-sub and tops.
Surely there should be a contact near the stage?
What power needs do you have?
10 amps is enough for our modern equipment. We would like to have a grounded outlet.
How long does it take you to get ready?
We usually spend about an hour setting up, and arrive about 1.5 hours before start.
What kind of music do you play for dancing?
We play a lot of different things, and are basically a living hit machine!

Do you charge travel allowances?
Yes, from 400 NOK. Travel allowances are calculated per assignment and discussed in advance. It is expensive to use a car these days.
What about accommodation?
We need accommodation if it is more than a two-hour drive home to Østfold. Only good standard hotels or good standard private accommodation.

We're going to dance an English waltz at our wedding. Do you have anything a little more modern you can play?
For example, we can play ""Perfect", "Tir,na Noir", Someday My Prince Will Come" or "Annie's Song" . If desired, we can then continue with a more traditional waltz.
How long should we allow for dancing at the wedding party?
It is common for the waltz to start with the guests gathering in a ring around the bride and groom, and then dancing alone. Most often, the guests join in the waltz after about a minute - and we always play two waltzes in a row so everyone gets to dance!
I have requests regarding which hymns you should play at the funeral. When can I call you?
Call us at your convenience. Please leave a message if we don't answer and we'll get back to you as soon as we can! We're very busy.
What exactly is table music?
When we “taffler” (as it is called in Norwegian) we play light background music during dinner. Then Knut Erik plays well-known and beautiful atmospheric songs from the piano. He either uses a piano/grand piano that is in the room or sets up his own electric one in advance.

How much would it cost if you only played at our wedding party?
3 x 45 min sets are the most common. We play from 9pm-12pm or 10pm-01am. The price for this is from 12,000kr. (Travel surcharge may apply.)
